What is Roof Maxx and how does it work?
Roof Maxx is a bio-based treatment that restores flexibility to aging asphalt shingles. It soaks into the shingle and replaces the oils that dried out, adding up to 5 years of life per treatment. It can be reapplied up to three times for up to 15 years of added roof life.
How much does Roof Maxx cost?
A Roof Maxx treatment runs approximately 20 to 25% of the total cost of a full roof replacement, including all prep work.
Is my roof a good candidate for Roof Maxx?
Roof Maxx works best on aging asphalt shingle roofs that are drying out but still structurally sound and not actively failing. We provide a free, honest assessment and tell you plainly if a full replacement is the better path.

What is a FORTIFIED roof?
A FORTIFIED roof is built to IBHS engineering standards with a sealed deck, ring-shank nails, reinforced edges, and third-party verification. It resists 130+ MPH winds and earns mandatory insurance discounts in Louisiana.
How much does a FORTIFIED roof lower my insurance?
Under Louisiana Regulation 136, up to 29% for a base FORTIFIED Roof designation, 43% for Silver, and 49% for Gold in South Louisiana. Voluntary carrier discounts stack on top, up to 40% with select carriers.
Is there a grant for a FORTIFIED roof?
The Louisiana Fortify Homes Program awards grants up to 10,000 dollars. As of now, registration is closed with no published date for the next round. Sign up at ldi.la.gov for announcements.
